FAW Chapter 4: Let’s open a restaurant!

– Huh? You want to become a cook? I asked Justitia who had come with her proposal.

She nodded embarassingly at the dinner table.It had been about four months since they arrived in this village and started living in my farm. The people in this village came to love them as I did and they often got along with the village children. Even Justin started to became softer around humans.

– I thought about just how much food productions we made and I thought that it was a pity if the food only were sold to other places and not used in a restaurant. Because sister Lucinda makes the most delicious vegetables and fruits! That’s why I don’t want them to go to waste. 

I looked at the little beast girl with an amused smile as I thought that it was indeed a pity that my food wasn’t used as ingredients to cook delicious food they weren’t really going to waste. Most of the people in this village relied on my farm productions as they made bread from my wheat, meals of my vegetables etc.

– Well, it wouldn’t be too bad if we started a restaurant, I said. However, Justitia, you’re going to have to be in charge of it as I will be busy with the farm. 

Her wolf ears that was a bit down suddenly became straight as she happily came to hug me. Then she became a bit troubled.

– But sis I’m not sure how I it should look like.

– Don’t worry. Tomorrow we will take a look at the village town for abandoned buildings. 

Like I had promised her we went to the village town and was greeted by the people. 

– Good morning Lucinda and Justitia, said Flora an old woman who was a baker. 

– Good morning, Flora, I greeted back. How’s your back?

– Much better. Thank you for that massage. 

– No problem.

– So what are you doing her in town? she asked me curiously.

– Well, Justitia here decided she wanted to open her own restaurant. 

– Really that’s a splendid idea. But she can’t manage it on her own, right? she said. Therefore please use my grandson however you want.

This woman was really clever and really did try to establish a family bond with me through using the slaves that were now officially my family on papers that is. Well since she has no ill intentions.

– Well since you’re offering I can’t refuse, I said.

– Great. Augustus come out! she yelled for her grandson who worked as her errand boy.

A boy about the age of Alan came out from the bread shop and started walking towards us. He was a nice little man who I knew had a dream of becoming a bard. And if you thought about it. Restaurants are the best with music. The only problem was that he didn’t really know how to play any instrument at all. Not that it would be a problem since I could just teach him. 

After Flora explained about the idea of him working together with Justitia he wanted to refuse at first but I explained to him that all he needed to do was play music and he would be payed with a fitting salary and also got free food to take home as well. This was an offer this young boy just couldn’t refuse as he got an offer to taste Justitia’s food for free. Yes, I knew the feelings he had for her. Poor boy is still a bit too immature to realize it himself though. 

We went to Santa who immediately had a building he had been bothered about wether he should get rid of or keep. Who knew that the building he actually was talking about was the previous count’s castle that was just a few kilometers from the village town. 

– Well then you may use it as you please for free, well then goodbye! he ran away.

I couldn’t believe that old geezer actually wanted to give this hunted castle to us. This is brilliant! So what if it’s hounted, I’ll just perform an exorcism and call on the spirits of nature to guard this building. Since he gave this castle to us for free he shouldn’t expect us not to use it. 

– But sis, this castle is too big. I just wanted a small place for my restaurant. This castle is too big. Besides this place is hounted. Who would ever want to

– Fufu. Sometimes you just gotta be grateful with what you have, I smiled.

After all when a castle that looks like a disney castle who could not be excited of the things that could be made here.

So, instead of just an restaurant we decided to make it a Theme Park along with a hotel and restaurant. I consulted some things with the village smith, Hansen, the seamstress Gretel, the florist, Rapunzel, Santa and people from the nearby villages. I just knew this park would become popular.  

But before we could start our little project I had to exorcist all those ghosts that wanted people ill and let the lost ones into the light. I used my power [Light] which belonged to [Nature magic] that embraced this whole place. Then I summoned spirits from the four elements fire, water, wind and earth. They were tiny little cute spirits but so powerful. 

– Sis really is so powerful, I heard Lili say in admiration as the light that opened a gate to the heavens started to disappear. 

– Since the exorcism is done, let’s start shall we? I took her hand as I mentally shared her a picture with her mind.

Once she had received the picture of how I wanted the inside structure of the castle to look like we started the incantation that would materialize our vision. It took awhile because it was a big project but eventually it became done.

– I did it, sis! Lili said happily and hugged me. 

I patted her head and hugged her back as I gave orders to Rapunzel and Gretel to start decorating the castle. As for Hansen I had asked him to make a ferris wheel, carousel and a rollercoaster, even though he didn’t know what they were. Of course since I had an ability called [Design], which allowed me draw anything and it would become perfect and understandable, the design I had given him was easily read and done by him.

When it came to workers since I only could get ten people, from the villages I asked around if they wanted to work here, I had to make dolls. Since I’m such an unoriginal person I called my dolls rozen maiden. They were both service dolls and battle dolls. Because I didn’t want them to become complete puppets I made them with feelings. The eight dolls I had created were called Venus, Jupiter, Mercurius, Moon, Neptunus, Mars, Saturn, Pluto. The reason why I named them like that… well you all could already probably guess, right?

And so five months later we opened the theme park. I had weeks earlier sent out fliers by using the art of printing, which wasn’t known in this world before now, and it was probably because of that, that people from all over the country came. Of course It wasn’t only nobles that came but also commoners and people from other races. Probably since the fee for entering was really cheap for them. For a child beneath seven it didn’t cost anything. However for a child from 7-15 it cost 2 gold coins. As for 16+ it cost 5 gold coins. However This was only the entrance fee. If you wanted to stay over at the theme park you, in other words rent a room then it would cost 10 gold for the cheapest room and 50 gold for the most expensive room. Although there was such a difference in the money all the rooms were exclusively pretty. Just the most cheapest room was already a room that could be described as a royal princess room or whatever. It was just that the most expensive rooms had a bathroom on their own with a jacuzzi, a balcony and a exclusive VIP food. However there were people that couldn’t afford either of the rooms and that’s why we always recommended them to rent a room at Lele Village since the cheapest room only cost 2 silvers. But most would like to rent a room in the hotel because you could rent even the cheapest room for 10 gold coins and stay for a week while having good room service, fun and of course enjoy the good food made from the best ingredients!

So what actually started with an idea of opening a restaurant actually turned into a theme park.

Jag heter Liliana La Oliviria.

Dessutom, i mitt förflutna, hade jag ett till namn.

På grund av bilolycka avslutades mitt liv som Tachibana Yukari och mitt live som den unga Liliana började.

Eftersom att jag kom till det nästa livet med ett annat ansikte verkar det visst som att jag har reinkarnerat.

Och det har skett medan jag fortfarande behöll mina minnen från mitt gamla liv som Tachibana Yukari.

Mer än så världen verkar inte vara jorden utan ett parallellt universum.

Alltså kvinnan jag såg tidigare är min mamma i den här världen.

Först kunde jag inte acceptera verkligheten så jag bara fortsatte att gråta. Hur som helst, situationen skulle inte förändras hur mycket jag än grät.

Därför bestämde jag mig för att acceptera mitt öde. 

Dessutom när jag grät fortsatte min mamma och pappa krama mig medan de såg bekymrade ut. 

De strök mig försiktigt. 

Självklart blev jag berörd av deras ödmjukhet och innan jag visste ordet av det, hade jag accepterat mitt nya liv.

Hur som helst, för en 16 åring att vara en bebis är smärtsamt.

Det var det enda saken jag inte kunde stå ut med.

Jag avskyr absolut detta.

Det var en del av mitt liv som jag försökte glömma bort så mycket som möjligt. 

Dock den del jag det svåraste med var språket.

När jag lyssnade på språket här, från mitt perspektiv som någon som vet det japanska språket, lät det bara som ett utländsk språk.

Här använder de ett annat språk från vad som används på jorden.

Något lägligt som att japanska vore ett uråldrig språk som inte talas längre här, hände inte. 

Jag var ofta tillsagd i mitt förra liv att bara av att leva utomland skulle man kunna lära sig språket bara sådär, men det verkar bara vara en vantro. 

Ett barn som börjar med att inte känna till något språk måste bara lära sig att förknippa ordet "äpple" med ett äpple som hon ser.

Men när jag såg ett äpple, likt när jag översätter ord från japanska till engelska, föknippade jag automatiskt det med det japanska ordet "ringo" (äpple).

Mina minnen från mitt förra liv blev ett förhinder.

Att lära sig ett nytt alfabet var detsamma.

Jag kunde inte prata förrän jag blev tre, även om jag hade ett litet barns flexibla hjärna.

Och orden jag kunde uttala var ingenting jämfört med mammas och pappas ordförråd.

Jag kände inte till så många.

Mamma och pappa var orolig och spenderade en avsevärd tid med att prata med mig.

På grund av det fick jag till slut tandfeber

Man brukar ofta skämta om att tandfeber är ett resultat från när unga barn använder sina hjärnor för mycket, men den riktiga anledningen är att yngre barn har svagare immunförsvar.

Hur som helst, anledningen till varför att jag fick tandfeber är utan frågan på grund av att jag överhettades på grund av psykisk överbelastning.

Sakta började de utspridda bitarna av kunskapen att pussla ihop sig, vilket förvandlades till språk.

Och precis så kunde jag till slut börja språket vid 7 års åldern.

Tills de tiden fick stackars jag återkommande feber.

Nuförtiden har jag helt förenat japanska och det språket som uttalat och kan fritt manipulera dem.

Det var alltså runt den här tiden jag förstod min egna läge.

Tydligen var jag en dotter till en adelsman och en greve dessutom!

Eftersom jag är en dotter till en greve borde jag leva ett lätt och tryggt liv.

När jag vaknade upp såg jag att jag var i ett rum jag aldrig sätt förut.

'Eh? Var är jag?'

Samtidigt mindes jag att jag blev påkörd av en bil.

'Jaha, jag… hamnade i en olycka.'

Bilen kom mot mig med en avsevärd fart så jag trodde seriöst att det var över.

Trots det överlevde jag som förväntat.

Utan tvivel har jag gjort mamma orolig.

Jepp, jag måste ordentlig be omförlåtelse till henne.

Jag undrade ifall det här var sjukhuset men möblerna var sådana man uppenbart inte hittade på sjukhus.

Till att börja med försökte jag röra mig men för någon anledning kunde jag inte. Först trodde jag att anledningen till varför jag inte kunde röra mig var på grund av att jag hade brutit mina ben och revben under olyckan, men konstigt nog kunde jag inte känna någon smärta alls.

'Va? Jag måste kolla min kropp!'

Jag försökte röra mina händer för att kolla min kropps kondition.

'Wow, jag kan röra min händer!'

När jag gjorde det hamnade väldigt små händer inom mitt synfält.

'En bebis här?'

När jag stelnade hörde jag skrockande från någon.

Plötsligt tittade en 20-något år gammal vacker utlänning på mig med ett leende.

FAW Chapter 3: Royal capital of Lapiz Kingdom

It took about two days two arrive here with a wagon. Imagine how long it would have taken me to get here by foot.

As soon as I arrived my eyes widened. I could understand why this was one of the famous cities on the human continent. People were everywhere there were stores and merchants in every corner.

Before we entered the city’s wall I took a look at my status which I hadn’t done for quite awhile.

Woah! I really have leveled up and gotten new abilities. I just gotta check them out- but later. My titles fit me totally~. But what’s up with my quests? All of a sudden it gives me quests without me even talking to anyone to see if they needed any help, like usually.
But whatever if I can earn money while spending money that’s good.

When we entered the capital France who’s job is to sell the village’s goods like a merchant told me the way towards the slave auction. But since I thought it would be a better idea to buy a cart first I went and did that.

I looked at carts in front of me. They all had different sizes and looks and very expensive. They all cost at least over one hundred gold coins. Because I didn’t want to take something too expensive I chose the smallest one. It had a simple look but was steady and could carry at least five hundred kilos. Though it didn’t have a roof over it I could always build one. So I gave the seller one hundred and fifty gold coins as I claimed my reward and then went to buy books. Now I didn’t realize at first what it meant to buy books and why I got such large reward for it but as I looked at the books prices I almost fainted. The good books were even more expensive than the carts. So I did the same again. I looked around on the shelves were the cheapest books were and they were all worth at least fifty gold coins at least. But that was also because they were in bad shape and you could barely read the titles and the text. But I didn’t care. As long as they were cheap and I could get my reward, I would buy them. So I picked seven books and went on to do my next quest. Which was to buy animals. Therefore I went to the animal district and had a look around. And I could barely believe my eyes. The animals varied from big to small, from exotic to plain. There were elefants, tigers but also normal farm animals. Because I was only here to buy animals I went and looked at the cows. But I only looked at the plain cows. Not the other ones which had abnormal looks and looked like hybrids. They were too expensive for me. Because I wanted a male cow and a female cow the seller brought them to me. I inspected them and asked him a lot of questions concerning their health. Because they were both healthy I decided to buy them however when I saw the female cow share a sad look with another male cow that was timid I told the owner that I wanted him instead. And the owner looked strangely at me first but fulfilled to my request. I thanked him and went to buy two sheeps and two pigs. Two females and two males too. Then after having been on the market of animals I went to the slave market and saw two twin girls with ears. They were definitely from the beast race. They weren’t very expensive so I decided to buy them. Next I saw a little elf boy who had those pleading eyes you could not resist and so I bought him even if he was quite expensive. While I was buying him my eyes caught the eyes of another slave. It was a girl from the wing race. She was beautiful. Her hair was the colour of gold, her eyes the bluest of blue. But her wings were black as night. That’s why she wasn’t so favourable among the buyers since black colour symbolized unluck or evil. So that’s why I made a bargain for her seller and bought her. Now then when I was buying her two kids ran pass me. They were running from a slave owner. But one of the kids who was a girl fell down and the slave owner caught them. The boy struggled against his captor. And the slave owner was about to hit him when I stopped him.
– Let them go, I said with a cold voice. I’ll buy them.
– Shut up! the boy yelled at me. Who wants you to buy me
– Big brother stop, the little girl begged and looked at me.
– How much do you want for them?
He viewed from head to toe.
– Oh, just a hundred gold coins, the man said.
– Very well. Here, I gave him a pouch of one hundred gold coins.
– Glad to do business with you miss, he let them go and skipped happily away.
When he had gone away I felt a small hand in mine. It was the little girl’s. I picked her up but the boy started to slam his fist onto me while yelling to let his sister go. When I told him  that I wouldn’t hurt her, he only answered that I was a liar like everyone else. But the little sister defended me and the brother soon calmed down.

I went back with all my slaves who were children to my wagon which my friend had looked after while I was gone.

We stayed in the city for a few nights before going. I noticed that a few of my slaves had wanted to escape especially that stubborn boy so I told them that if they wanted to leave they were allowed to. I wouldn’t chase after them. But if they chose to stay I would treat them like family.

The next day I looked around in a cloth stores with the children. Though many cloth stores refused to accept slaves into them. But I found eventually a cloth store run by an old woman. Her store mostly contained clothes for noble people so I asked her if she had farming clothes that could take dirt. She said she did and I ordered the children to try them on. They were stylish farming clothes and fit the children very much. I let them choose three pair of clothes and after they did I payed for them.

And two days later I went back to the village along with them and my companions.

On the way we were met by a cavalry of knights led by The King of Clover Kingdom himself. We greeted each for a brief moment and I could feel the winds of fate blow around us. I knew we were going to see each other soon.

FAW Chapter 2: My farm

It had been a month since I arrived into this new world. During these past month I have been working really hard to gain more knowledge about this world as well as establish my business. I also renovated my house so it looked more like a house. To summarize how things looked right now. I must praise myself. Because of my [Growth] skill I could harvest my plants much faster. With my goods I then either sold or ex-changed them for something else. And because my goods were of high quality many people came to me for them. When the village chied asked why my plants grew much quicker I revealed my powers. He told me I must have been loved by The Mother otherwise I wouldn’t have been blessed by such wonderful gifts. But he also warned me to be aware of who I showed them too. Since this world was full of scums who would kidnap me and turn me into their slaves so that they could use my power for their own purpose. Which I certainly took a note at.

Around my farm I built a fence out of wood and barbed wire, who I asked Nor the smith to make. I also had helped constructing a water mill so that we could bring water closer to the village. Because of this they no longer had to wander into the dangerous woods were wild animals and dangerous creatures roamed. Because I was closest to the water mill, or rather it was right at the left corner of my farm, I could keep an eye on it so that no one destroyed it or anything.

On my farm I had put wood fence here also so that I could seperate certain areas. The area at the right corner was closest to water so I made a pond there which was used for rice, bamboo, cranberry etc. It had an area of about one-hundred square meters. The next area which was next to it were the trees’. For now I only had apple, lemon, orange, plum and pear trees but hoped in the future to have more other kind of trees. And because of my special ability I was able to grow them quickly. And this area took about the same square meters as the pond. If you walked downwards from the trees’ area you would get to grape plantantion which had area of about eighty-one square meters. Beside this area was the tomato, eggplant, potato, sweet potato, carrot, onion, cabbage, pumpkin, corn fields which each had an area of nine square meters. Then we have the sixteen square meter area which is my backyard. It’s the place for my flowers to grow. They take a little longer to grow than the others even with [Growth].

As for the amount of time it takes for everything to grow before I can harvest…

This starts to look more and more like Farmville. Which made me sometimes wonder if I had ended up in the game somehow. But I also realized they it couldn’t be like that because of the peoples clothes which looked to be medieval. Because these people in the village were either farmers or smiths it was hard to tell. But sometimes carriages with noble people would pass by our village and I could see that they wore high medieval dresses and costumes.

But because of this fast growth rate the village didn’t have to worry about starving. Some children when they had free time came over and helped me harvest. Because they worked hard I always rewarded them with giving some of my goods to them. This also increased my friendly relationship with the villagers. But it wasn’t just giving them goods that increased it. I also helped them by giving them advices as to how get a more bountiful harvests like for example wheat. Because wheat was plant that consumed a lot of the earths nutrients it often led the next wheat crop to fail because it doesn’t get much nutrients. Therefore I told them a way for them to keep having a bountiful harvest. Which was to use a rotation system. They would divide their field into four areas. In two of the areas they would plant clover because clover was a plant that didn’t take up much of the earth’s nutrients and also could restore them a bit. Clover was also good food for their cows. And then on the other two empty areas they would plant wheat. And after the harvest they would rotate and use the areas were the clover previusly had been in to plant wheat and vice versa.

I also helped them construct a windmill that would help the villagers to mill their wheat or any other cereal into flour. This thing would be done in about a month from now because it was hard getting the materials for it.

Because my farm was very big I took the oppurtunity to build a storage, a barn for future animals and a roost. I also took the oppurtunity to build another house if someone ever needed a place to stay in. These buildings weren’t done yet but I expected them to be within another few months. Because I was building them myself it would take a few months to get them done.

Something that I’ve thought about lately is to hire people, and also buy animals, but grandpa thought it would be better to buy slaves that way I wouldn’t need to pay them. Which disgusted me a lot however now that I thought about it I might as well buy slaves and then hire them as normal people. That’s why I’m going to the royal capital since it was the biggest city. And I would have a higher chance to likely find the things that I’m looking for there. In the meantime I asked the children who had helped me with my farm to look after it while I was gone.

FAW Chapter 1: Since I don't know a way back then let's make the best of the situation

I don't really know what just happened. But the universe like they say is full of mysteries and unexplainable things. Let me explain my situation…

I was walking home from the store around late in the evening while listening to Adele's new song "Hello". When all of a sudden I noticed my surroundings change as I walked past a streetlight. What used to have been a dark a dark sky with stars was now a clear blue sky. And what had been a scenario of houses had now become a scenario of trees surrounding me. The road had suddenly changed from street to a simple path. I looked behind only to see other trees.

(Oh, dear. Sabrina where on earth have you gone to?) I thought to myself.

So, the smartest thing I did was to start walking the path in front of me. As I did many thoughts had swirled around my head. Though I wasn't sure why and how I came here or if there even is a way back home, I knew that in this unfamiliar place that I had come to… I needed to do whatever I needed to do in order to survive. And if my guess is correct then I have probably ended up in another world, like in those fantasy novels I watch, which makes it only more important to stand on my guard.

As I walked along the path I came across a village. In my joy I ran towards it. At first when I entered it people looked at me suspiciously. Mothers hid their children behind their backs. And I noticed that when they whispered and talked I could not understand a singe thing of what they said. Among the people an old man stepped forward towards me and started to speak in a language I didn't know. I wasn't even sure there was this kind of language on earth. Which only proved even more that I had come to another world. Though I did not understand a thing of what the old man said I had a vague idea of what he was saying so I tried to do my best answering with body language. And it seemed to have worked because the old man who I think was the head of the village, or at least that was what it seemed like as the people in the village bowed respectfully towards him, smiled in relief and seemed to invite me over to his house. Now normally I wouldn't just simply follow a person to his home however I was in a pretty vulnerable situation and needed to gather more knowledge of this world. And since the old man didn't give off the feeling of having any ill intentions towards I thought:

Now I sat here, in his house, on a chair drinking tea while listening intently to what the old man was saying, though I totally didn't understand. However the mysterious thing that happened was that while he was talking I started to understand his words more and more. And from what the information I gathered from him was that this world was Ava. It was a world similar to earth however had yet come to the time where technology existed. Typical fantasy novel material, in my opinion. And for some reason there was a war between demons and humans due to something that happened in the past. Some sort of betrayal or something similar. But the humans hated the demons. But there were also humans that got along pretty well with them too. However there was still some issues between them since not many humans believed in co-existing with the demons. And they treated each other horribly. It was even legal to beat, murder or enslave a demon here in the human realm without being punished for that. And that was what made the whole situation even more suspicious. Cause if you looked back into my world Hitler pretty much made the german people and nazis look at the jews like they were not human. And I'm not saying the demons are human or anything. But in my opinion it just make a human much more worse to treat another being wrongly. Which all comes down to religion truly. And in my world there was one golden rule in every religion and that was to treat others like you yourself wanted to be treated like. However in this world the seemed to be a religion called the Immanity that pretty much was how the church of christianity were like back in the day in middle ages on earth. Now Immanity consisted of churches called Church of light. And they allowed to treat other beings as like trash as long as they weren't of their own kind. And in my opinion this church really seemed to have become corrupted. Because the village elder said that the church of light recruited young magicians (yeah, there's magic in this world too. Didn't surprise me that much) to fight for the church, I do have a feeling their doing some pretty shady things towards the kids. Like for example brainwashing them. That's what I would do if I wanted someone to be totally loyal to me. Which only proves that they're not really a church of light if they fight meaningless wars and sacrifice hundreds of young lives just to expand their power. Or that's how I saw it. But then again… I didn't really know much and had only heard this information from the village chief. So it wasn't right of me to just jump to conclusions.

Anyway Ava was a world that consisted of three great empires and smaller kingdoms. And they all were on the same continent. This world only consisted of one continent called Pangea. Which I knew I felt was a similar name to something I couldn't remember. And right now I was in the kingdom called, Clover which still hadn't submitted to the human empire who's ruler was simply controlled by the church of light like a puppet.

Later when the village chief had told me the information I wanted to know I curiously asked him if he had a place where I could stay in. I also explained to him that I had decided to stay in this village. And how could I suddenly speak his language? Well, that's a mystery too. But meh- whatever as long as it isn't something bad I will accept whatever may come. And he didn't exactly say there were a place I could stay at. Instead he decided to show it to me and let me decide wether I wanted to have my own place or share with someone else. And at this point it would be better if I got my own place. The people in this village didn't really seem so friendly towards me.

What he showed me was an abandoned farm which had decayed house and really, really high grass. And I thought the land was little at first and thought that it wouldn't take so long to fix the farm up. However it seemed like it wouldn't be so easy now that I had figured out that the land was about six hundred-twenty-five square-meters. Still even as I knew this would be hard I didn't want to give up. In my world I was an athlete. And athletes will always want to see the end of the race.

I inspected the house and knew that I had much to do. The house was decayed and the wood was moldy. I needed to tear this house apart and build it up from scratch. But I couldn't do it alone. I asked the village chief for some assistance and he told be he gladly would help me rebuild it. It was after all the duty of the village chief to make sure everyone in the village was happy.

So, with the help of other people we tore down the house and built up a new one. Because everyone was helping the house got done before dawn. And I could comfortably sleep even if I had to do it on the floor. To me who had come to this world and walked many kilometers before finding a civilization and learning their language I was completely tired.

The next morning I woke up early like the sun hadn't even gone up yet. Which means that time here must be slow. Something that I couldn't help noticing, when waking up, was the green screen popping up in my face. I had seen similar things in my world every time I played an mmorpg-game. However this one looked more like a status window I would see on Farmville 2.

Yay! Now I didn't have to worry about supporting myself that much. If I could make an harvest on ten seconds after I had planted the seeds then I could surely sell a lot of my crops and be able to buy things I needed. And not just that. I would be able to repay back the kindness that the village head and everyone had showed me!

I looked over the high grass with a smile.

Although it took me until lunch to just get rid of the weeds I felt pretty satisfied. What even satisfied me even more was that I found a well in the middle of the field while I was pulling up weeds. I picked up some water with a bucket that was tied to the well by a pretty steady rope. Seeing that it was completely clear I drank from it and felt refreshed.

And then I continued to clear the rest of the field. Though it was hard work and felt like it would never end I’m so proud over myself for enduring the pain. The second I got done with it I heard the village chief, Santa yell out to me. He waved and made a gest for me to come to him which I did. It seems like he came to deliver food to me from his wife which I gratefully thanked him for. He also told me that if I needed something else I shouldn’t be shy and just ask him. Such a reliable old grandpa. And I asked for tools so that I could plow. He nodded and told me that I could go get it tomorrow. And he also told me with a blushing and smiling face to call him from now on ”grandpa”. Though it was weird for me I called him that only to make him happy which he very much appreciated.

So the next day after getting tools from him, and a surprise brekfast from his wife who I from now on called grandma, I started to plow the field. As I started to do it another farmer came to me and lent me his cown who could make the work go faster. I thanked him and didn’t really know how to repay for his kindness. So when I showed him that all I had was wild grass he smilingly said that he would gladly receive some of the grass from me. Though I didn’t know what he would use it for I was glad at least that I could repay him. And now with the help of the cow I plowed the field faster and got done with it before lunch.

When I was gonna eat my lunch grandma suddenly passed by with another old nice lady, Charlotte who came to give me some of her cookies in ex-change for some of my grass. I didn’t have anything against it and gave her as much as she could carry. Later I asked grandma why people wanted grass and she explained to me that in this world the grass was used for making healing potions. Though not a very high effective healing potion but it was still something to the village people. And you could sell the grass for a silver copper coins. But because I wasn’t a greedy person I would give people the grass in ex-change for something better than money. Which in my opinion was either food or seeds that I could cultivate.

And that was a good start of my farm business.
